Job description

We are currently looking to hire class 1 & 2 HGV multidrop drivers (Cat C, Cat C+E) for a client based within the Launceston area, delivering palletised goods around Devon and Cornwall. If you're interested, please read more!

About the job:

1. The hours vary depending on your route, starting at 07:30 until the job is finished. Shifts can last 9 or 10 hours.
2. Pay for class 2 drivers is £17.37 per hour, with overtime at £21.79 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay via advanced payroll).
3. Pay for class 1 drivers is £18.49 per hour, with overtime at £23.12 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay via advanced payroll).
4. Overtime is paid after an 8-hour shift.
5. This is temporary ongoing, full-time work, with potential for permanent positions for suitable candidates.
6. PAYE.
7. Weekly pay.

Job requirements:

1. A valid Category C or C+E licence, in-date CPC, and digi cards are required. No more than 6 points, and no DR, DD, or IN convictions for insurance purposes.
2. The ability to lift and carry heavy items throughout the day, in addition to driving, is necessary due to the physical nature of the role.

The advertised pay rates are via an advanced payroll method, inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay. We can accommodate a standard payroll method if preferred, allowing holiday accrual and separate payment.
