Job description

We are looking for a HGV driver to start immediately for our client based in Bellshill looking for Class 1 ADR Drivers.

As a Class 1 Driver you must:

1. Have C+E Licence
2. Have a CPC Card and Digi tacho card
3. ADR Ticket to carry gases
4. Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience
5. Have no more than 3 points on licence
6. Have a flexible approach to work

Class 1 drivers responsibilities include:

1. Start times from 0700
2. 48 hours per week
3. Deliveries of gas cylinders to industrial and beverage companies
4. Mix of handball and forklifted off drops
5. Use of tail lift
6. Use of handheld scanner for collections and deliveries
7. Deliveries to customers across the central belt
8. Some deliveries to Aberdeen or Inverness

Prior to work commencing you will be required to attend a 2 week training programme/induction, which includes a master drivers test.

The successful Class 1 ADR Driver can expect:

1. 28 days paid holiday pro rata on PAYE
2. Weekly Pay

This position is commutable from Bellshill, Motherwell, Coatbridge, Holytown, Uddingston and other areas nearby to Bellshill.
