Job summary

Keyrock is seeking 3-4 Quantitative Analyst Interns to join our Strategic Market Making, Credit and Corporate Development desks. The program lasts six months, based in Brussels with London placement possible, and starts 1 March 2027. The deadline to apply is 30 November 2026.

You will work with traders, researchers and engineers on data analysis, backtesting and tool-building. The internship offers hands-on experience in digital assets, with potential for a permanent role depending on

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed degree in mathematics, computer science, engineering, physics, quantitative finance or a related field.
• Proficient in Python for data analysis; SQL; Git; comfortable with command-line workflows.
• Experience with market microstructure, electronic markets and exchange APIs is a plus.
• Knowledge of digital assets and trading concepts is desirable.
• Strong quantitative reasoning and curiosity about systematic trading.

Responsibilities

• Analyse multi-venue top-of-book and depth data, trades, orders, fills and cancels to study liquidity and execution.
• Build and validate latency-aware backtests with explicit maker/taker and queue-position assumptions.
• Measure spread capture, fees and adverse selection across venues and regimes.
• Develop Python tools and data pipelines for research and monitoring.
• Study cross-venue price discovery and basis while accounting for data differences.
• Support live strategies with PnL, inventory and risk analysis.
• Present findings with clear assumptions, limitations and next steps.
