Job summary

Keyrock is seeking 6-month Innovation Quant Developer Interns to join our Corporate Development and DeFi desks. Based in Brussels with London option, you’ll prototype technologies, perform technical due diligence, and analyze data to support strategic growth in digital assets.

You’ll collaborate with quant developers, learn Python/SQL, and contribute to market insights while exploring Web3 primitives and infrastructure. A strong code-first mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduating student or recent graduate in CS/Math/Physics/Engineering/Quantitative Finance.
• Solid code-first foundation in Python and SQL (Git proficiency).
• Strong interest in Web3 and digital assets.
• Ability to analyze technical documentation, work with data/on-chain telemetry, evaluate emerging technologies, and build quantitative models or prototype tools.
• Nice-to-haves: hands-on prototyping smart contracts or Web3 tools, familiarity with Rust, Solidity, EVM event logs, or previous internship/project experience in crypto or quantitative finance.

Responsibilities

• Web3 primitive & technology evaluation: Assist in evaluating new Web3.0 primitives, DeFi protocols, and emerging blockchain infrastructure, analyzing engineering requirements to align with Corporate Development growth goals.
• Technical due diligence & strategic analysis: Support technical and quantitative due diligence on potential strategic deals, venture investments, and ecosystem partnerships to evaluate architectural viability and strategic fit.
• Prototyping & system integration: Help build, test, and maintain prototype systems, analytics tools, and internal proof-of-concepts, collaborating across divisions to ensure compatibility with Keyrock's broader trading and tech stack.
• Market intelligence & data analytics: Use Python, SQL, and data analytics to track emerging technologies, monitor market trends, and deliver actionable data-driven insights for strategic growth opportunities.
