Our client (a world leading hedge fund) seeks an Algo Trading Systems Engineer to join their Trading and Research Infrastructure team.


Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of servers, networking devices, data storage systems, and other hardware components.
  2. Design and implement scheduling mechanisms.
  3. Design, implement, and manage the ongoing operation of clustered file systems.
  4. Gather metrics and conduct data mining analysis.
  5. Maximize system and network performance for latency-critical and high-throughput applications.

Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related engineering discipline is mandatory.
  • Minimum three years of hands-on experience in the development of systematic trading systems, utilizing languages such as Python, Golang, Rust, or similar.
  • Proficiency in working with Linux-based systems is expected.
