Job summary

Callosum, the Intelligent Systems Company, is building infrastructure to unify heterogeneous compute across the full stack and is based in London. We are hiring to design and ship multi-cloud orchestration systems that leverage diverse chips and accelerators, extending Kubernetes to manage accelerator topologies and AI workloads.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Kubernetes internals, custom controllers, schedulers and device plugins.
• Experience building or operating multi-cloud infrastructure with networking/storage differences.
• Familiarity with GPU/accelerator resource management in cluster environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and build multi-cloud orchestration systems that abstract provider differences behind a unified deployment and scheduling layer.
• Extend Kubernetes - particularly Dynamic Resource Allocation (DRA) - to be aware of heterogeneous accelerator topologies and AI workflows.
• Implement intelligent load balancing and placement strategies across cloud providers, regions, and hardware types.
• Build control plane systems that enable efficient allocation and management of heterogeneous accelerator capacity while leveraging hardware-specific strengths.
• Collaborate with an Accelerator Systems Software engineer to surface scheduling primitives into the orchestration layer.
