Job summary

R. Moulding & Co. (Salisbury) Limited, known as Moulding, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead English Heritage Lots 15 & 16 across Dorset, Somerset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Oxfordshire.

The role is field-based with regular travel and close collaboration with Contracts Managers, design teams and subcontractors. You will ensure safe, efficient delivery of cyclical maintenance and restoration projects, uphold the highest quality standards, and lead a skilled trades

Qualifications

• SMSTS certificate or equivalent
• CSCS Card
• Experience in traditional/high-end construction and restoration
• Basic contractual knowledge

Responsibilities

• Oversee health and safety on site, ensure RAMS and CDM compliance
• Plan and schedule site activities in line with the construction programme
• Manage day-to-day site operations, labour, plant and subcontractors
• Maintain quality control and ensure workmanship meets standards
• Manage costs, materials, and logistics to deliver projects efficiently
• Maintain clear communication with Contracts Manager, clients and design teams
• Set up sites and maintain security and welfare facilities
