Job summary

Glasgow Museums seeks a Heritage Interpretation Producer to lead the interpretation framework for Sauchiehall Street and manage commissions with artists and designers. This fixed-term, part-time role supports community engagement and cultural programming within the district.

The role involves collaborating with a broader team to deliver the Proof of Concept phase and realise the programme’s heritage interpretation goals.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification OR equivalent work experience in a culture or heritage discipline.
• Significant experience of producing public art, events and/or interpretation commissions.
• Collaborative approach to developing culture and heritage programmes and activities.

Responsibilities

• Realise the Heritage Interpretation Framework for Sauchiehall Street and engage communities.
• Commission artists and designers to respond to and develop work uncovered through the programme.
• Collaborate with the expanded team to deliver the Proof of Concept phase.
