Landscaping Matters is looking for a Gardener to assist the Head Gardener at Charleston's Firle and Lewes sites, maintaining gardens and outdoor spaces and ensuring they are well-presented. The role combines practical horticulture with public-facing duties in heritage settings.

This permanent, part-time position offers 28 hours per week (equivalent to 4 days), with some evenings and weekend work. Experience with heritage gardening and volunteering is welcome.

Qualifikationen

• Experience of supporting or supervising volunteers would be useful.
• Interest in heritage gardening and horticulture.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather and in a team.

• Support the Head Gardener in maintaining Charleston's gardens and outdoor spaces.
• Care for gardens, their presentation and day-to-day management.
