Job summary

English Heritage is seeking a Gardener for Brodsworth Hall and Gardens. This is a full-time, 1-year maternity cover contract working 36 hours per week, based at Brodsworth Hall, Doncaster. Salary is £24,876 per annum.

The role requires NVQ Level 2 in amenity horticulture or equivalent and prior experience in a high-quality horticultural setting. You’ll maintain our historic gardens and work as part of a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in amenity horticulture or equivalent.
• Experience in a high-quality horticultural establishment.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather; physically demanding role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Brodsworth Hall gardens to a high standard.
• Work as part of the garden team to present attractive gardens.
• Assist with seasonal planting and general garden maintenance.
