You will help provide proactive heritage advice on projects related to listed buildings, conservation areas and other heritage assets, working with the Conservation Officer and Development Management team.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in conservation, planning, architecture or related discipline.
• IHBC membership or working towards.
• Some knowledge of the English planning system relating to heritage and building conservation.
• Experience of IT, particularly MS Office (Word, Outlook).
• High standard of written and oral communication.
• Strong customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive heritage advice on a variety of projects and initiatives.
• Contribute to the Council’s statutory responsibilities relating to listed buildings, conservation areas and other heritage assets.
• Support delivery of Hart District Council’s heritage and conservation service.
