Foundation Recruitment in Liverpool is seeking a hands-on Building Manager to take responsibility for a beautiful, multi-tenanted office building in the city centre.

You will lead day-to-day operations, build strong tenant relationships, manage contractors and service charges, and ensure health, safety and regulatory compliance while preserving the heritage of the building. This is a proactive, visible role with a focus on delivering exceptional occupier experience.

Competenze

• Experience in Building Manager, Facilities Manager or similar property management role.
• Strong customer service and tenant relationship skills.
• Experience managing contractors, budgets and service charge expenditure.
• Good understanding of health and safety and statutory compliance.
• Experience managing or supervising an on-site team.
• Excellent organisation, communication and problem-solving skills.
• A hands-on approach and the confidence to take ownership.

Mansioni

• Tenant relations: Build positive relationships with occupiers, acting as the go-to person for queries, issues and day-to-day requirements.
• Contractor management: Oversee contractors and service providers, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.
• Service charge management: Assist with the preparation and management of service charge budgets, monitoring expenditure and ensuring value for money.
• Health & Safety: Take responsibility for maintaining a safe working environment, overseeing risk assessments and ensuring appropriate procedures are followed.
• Compliance: Ensure all statutory inspections, planned maintenance and compliance requirements are up to date.
• Building management: Oversee the day-to-day running, presentation and maintenance of the building, with particular consideration for its heritage status and preservation requirements.
• Team management: Lead and support the on-site team, creating a positive, service-led approach to building operations.
