Overview

Barrington James' client is seeking a talented and motivated Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) Consultant to join their team. As an HEOR Consultant, you will be responsible for utilizing your expertise in health economics, strategy, and general consulting to provide valuable insights and guidance to our clients. You will play a vital role in conducting health economic analyses, developing strategies, and delivering evidence-based recommendations to support decision-making in healthcare.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct health economic evaluations and outcomes research to inform market access strategies and health technology assessments.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop customized solutions and recommendations.
  • Analyze and interpret healthcare data to generate insights and drive evidence-based decision-making.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders through reports, presentations, and other mediums.
  • Stay current with industry trends and regulations to ensure the application of best practices and compliance with guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in health economics, epidemiology, public health, or a related field.
  • Fluent English and Business Japanese.
  • Proven experience in health economics, outcomes research, and consulting within the healthcare industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical and economic modeling.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Knowledge of health technology assessment (HTA) and market access considerations preferred.
Day-to-day

As an HEOR Consultant, you will spend your days collaborating with clients, analyzing healthcare data, developing strategies, and communicating findings and recommendations. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to contribute to the successful delivery of projects and drive impactful outcomes for our clients.
