Job summary

Gama Aviation is seeking a skilled HEMS Captain in Cardiff to join our Special Mission Flight Crew supporting Wales Air Ambulance Charity. You will contribute to life-saving missions as part of a multi-pilot operation flying H145 helicopters day and night.

Both H145 type rating and HEMS/NVIS training are provided for the right candidate, with opportunities for military transition and a commitment to professional development within a globally recognized aviation company.

Qualifications

• Current UK CAA Part-FCL ATPL(H) or CPL(H) with ATPL(H) theory, plus IR(H) and Class 1 Medical.
• Military candidates: Qualified Military Pilot (Helicopters) with Unrestricted Green Instrument Rating (Helicopters).
• Right to live and work in the UK; pathway funding available if needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compliant and efficient flight operations in support of HEMS operations.
• Diligent and professional conduct per company manuals and regulatory requirements.
• Actively engage with safety reporting, risk management and continual safety improvements.
• Represent the Company positively and engage with charity partners and industry stakeholders.
