Job Description

This role involves providing sterile decontamination services to support surgical and clinical departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality services, maintaining stock control, and promoting health and safety standards.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:
  • Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence
  • Proficient in the use of a PC, including software and systems
  • Previous administration experience in a private healthcare environment
  • Knowledge of sterile services
  • Good administration and computer skills
Key duties include:
  • Providing first-class decontamination sterile services to Operating Theatres, clinical, and paramedical departments
  • Answering calls from customers and preparing/amending tray lists
  • Assisting with the ordering and storage of supplies
  • Dispatching instruments to various locations
  • Supporting decontamination, checking, assembly, packing, sterilisation, and delivery of medical and surgical equipment
  • Maintaining good relationships with customers and staff
  • Assisting with stock management
  • Promoting health & safety within the department
  • Ensuring adherence to policies and procedures
