Job description

Helpdesk Coordinator

Location: Office based in St Albans

Salary: Up to 28k + Package + Holiday

We are a construction contractor specializing in planned and reactive maintenance across Rail, Education, Health sectors, and civil engineering projects in the South and East of England. We are currently recruiting for a Helpdesk Coordinator to join our team in St Albans.

Responsibilities:
  1. Serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls and service requests via telephone and email.
  2. Utilize GTR Asset Pro live reporting system to ensure all jobs are started and completed within contract SLA.
  3. Allocate calls to engineers or subcontractors based on skills, location, and service agreements.
  4. Prioritize urgent jobs and coordinate support to address immediate demands.
  5. Maintain a strong understanding of Facilities Management within an administrative/helpdesk context and proficiency in CAFM systems.
Requirements:
  1. Experience in planning and scheduling engineers.
  2. Knowledge of facilities maintenance.
  3. Willingness to attend training and Health & Safety courses as directed by the Contracts Manager.
  4. Exceptional customer service and administrative skills.
  5. Previous experience with CAFM systems.
  6. Availability to work from 08:30 to 17:30.
