Job summary

Harmony Fire in London is seeking a Height Safety Service Engineer to join the Service Delivery team, covering London & SE or the Midlands. You will carry out the inspection, maintenance, and certification of height safety systems across our growing client portfolio — ensuring every system is compliant, fit for purpose, and properly documented after every visit.

This is a hands‑on, field-based role where the standard you set on every visit matters.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience with height safety systems including horizontal lifelines, anchor points, and fall arrest equipment.
• Qualifications: IRATA, IPAF, PASMA, or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally (London, SE, Midlands).
• Experience producing compliant inspection reports and certification documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and clear communicator on site.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive inspections, maintenance, and servicing of height safety systems across London, SE and the Midlands.
• Produce accurate inspection reports, certification documentation, and service records following every visit.
• Identify defects, remedial requirements, and upgrade opportunities, communicating findings clearly to clients and the Service team.
• Carry out minor remedial works and component replacements as required.
• Ensure all works are delivered in line with relevant standards, RAMS, and Harmony’s health and safety requirements.
• Maintain your van stock, equipment, and PPE to the required standard at all times.
• Liaise with clients professionally on site, representing Harmony’s brand with confidence.
• Complete all job management system entries accurately and on time, including time logging, parts usage, and certification records; participate in the out‑of‑hours emergency callout rota as required.
