Job description

Our client, an independent asset management business, is looking for a Hedge Fund Product Developer to join their product team in London. The successful candidate will report to the Global Head of Product.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and structure new investment funds and maintain existing fund range
• Oversee legal drafting of fund prospectuses and coordinate negotiation of fund-related agreements
• Manage project launches of new funds including detailed planning, coordination, and stakeholder management
• Conduct industry research activities including peer analysis, benchmark comparisons and competitor landscape review
• Develop relationships with hedge fund and private market targets and manage ongoing IM relationships
• Perform annual product range reviews per Consumer Duty requirements

Requirements:

• Deep understanding and working experience with either hedge funds or private market managers
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Experience working collaboratively across product, distribution and marketing teams
