Job Description:

Our client is a $16bn global multi-strategy, multi-manager hedge fund with over 20 years of experience. They are seeking an Investment Analyst to join their Financials Team.

Responsibilities:

• In-Depth Research: Conduct fundamental analysis on publicly traded financial companies, evaluating financial statements, market trends, and competitive positioning.
• Asset Valuation: Develop valuation models to assess intrinsic value of financial stocks, including DCF, comparable analysis, and NAV.
• Market Analysis: Monitor macroeconomic trends, interest rates, and industry developments impacting financial stocks, providing insights to the team.
• Idea Generation: Identify investment opportunities within the financial sector and produce data-driven investment theses.

Qualifications:

• 2-6 years of experience in equity research, investment banking, or hedge funds.
• Experience in financials is essential.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in finance, economics, or mathematics.
• Experience in research, due diligence, and preparing client-ready investment materials.
• Strong quantitative skills and attention to detail.
