Job summary

Total Fleet Support is offering a Heavy Vehicle Technician Apprenticeship for those who love vehicles. You will learn to service and maintain heavy vehicles, diagnose faults, and prepare for MOTs, while earning and gaining IMI Level 3 qualification.

You’ll work with experienced technicians, receive expert training from GTG Training, and have full-time employment from day one, with residential stays during training blocks and ongoing mentor support for clear career progression.

It’s an exciting time to join the company. Total has recently expanded with a second workshop, adding dedicated EV repair and maintenance baysalongside advanced engine diagnostic facilities. The team works across a huge variety of vehicles and equipment, including cars, vans, minibuses, motorhomes, tail-lifts, plant and powered access equipment.

What You’ll Do

Working alongside experienced technicians, you’ll learn how to:

• Service and maintain heavy vehicles


• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults


• Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections
