Combined Soil Stabilisation Ltd in Bolton is looking for an experienced Heavy Plant Mechanic to join our team. This role involves working in our workshop and across the UK, supporting a modern fleet of specialist plant and equipment.

Key requirements include NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance, a full UK driving licence, and strong diagnostic skills. Benefits include excellent pay and a company van.

Formación

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Comfortable with nights away from home.
• Willing and able to travel across the UK at short notice.
• Previous experience within piling and/or ground stabilisation equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose, service, and repair heavy plant and specialist equipment.
• Carry out breakdowns, planned maintenance, and inspections on-site.
• Maintain high standards of safety, workmanship, and professionalism.
• Liaise with operations and management to minimise downtime.

Conocimientos

Diagnostic and fault‑finding skills

Reading and working from electrical and hydraulic schematics

Excellent timekeeping and reliability

Field service or mobile plant maintenance background

• Field service or mobile plant maintenance background
