This well-established, family-run machinery business provides sales, servicing and repair solutions to customers across Cheshire and the surrounding regions. Working with a range of leading machinery brands, the business has a strong reputation for supporting customers with heavy plant, tractors, loaders and agricultural equipment.
In this role, you will have a high level of autonomy, travelling to customer sites across a regional patch to service, diagnose and repair a range of heavy plant machinery. You will have flexibility around your working hours depending on customer requirements, while receiving manufacturer-specific training to broaden your knowledge of agricultural machinery and develop your career within the sector.
This role would suit a Heavy Plant Engineer, Plant Fitter or similar with strong mechanical and hydraulic fault-finding experience who enjoys working independently and wants the flexibility to develop their skills across both plant and agricultural machinery.
Work autonomously across a regional patch, managing your own workload
Service, repair and maintain heavy plant and agricultural machinery
Diagnose and repair mechanical and hydraulic faults
Attend customer sites to carry out breakdown repairs and servicing
Complete pre-delivery inspections on new machinery
Benefit from manufacturer-specific training on agricultural equipment
Have flexibility around working hours to suit the needs of the role
Experience servicing and repairing heavy plant, agricultural or similar machinery
Strong mechanical and hydraulic fault-finding skills
Full UK driving licence
