Job summary
Thorn Baker Industrial is recruiting a Heavy Mobile Plant Operator for a busy heavy industrial site in Darley Dale. You will operate 18-22 tonne dumpers, 21 tonne 360 excavators and mobile jaw crushers, and carry out pre-use checks to ensure safe operation on site.
The role requires current CPCS/NPORS tickets and proven experience with all three machines. The position offers continental shift patterns and ongoing/permanent opportunities for the right candidate in Derbyshire, with PAYE pay at
Qualifications
- Current CPCS / NPORS or relevant plant tickets.
- Proven operating experience on all three machines (dumper, excavator, crusher).
- Strong Health & Safety awareness and ability to complete pre-use checks.
Responsibilities
- Operate 18-22 tonne dumpers.
- Operate 21 tonne 360 excavators.
- Operate mobile jaw crushers.
- Load, move and process materials.
- Carry out daily plant and equipment checks.
- Report defects, faults and maintenance requirements.
- Follow site operating procedures and Health & Safety requirements.
- Maintain safe working areas around mobile plant.
- Work alongside other Heavy Plant Operators and site teams.
- Support general site operations when required.
