Job summary

The Right Hire Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Fitter for a heavy engineering environment. You will perform skilled fitting, inspection, overhaul and assembly of large mechanical components in a team setting.

Role requires following detailed work instructions, route cards and SOPs, with training provided. Benefits include pension contributions and generous annual leave, with a rotating shift pattern including days and afters.

Qualifications

• Experience working in heavy engineering fitting or a similar mechanical environment.
• Good mechanical fitting and hands-on engineering skills.
• Experience performing inspection and measurement of components.
• Ability to follow written and digital work instructions and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Health, Safety and Environmental procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working area in line with 5S standards.
• Work safely when carrying out manual handling and lifting activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and working practices.
• Attend relevant training to develop your skills and knowledge.
