Arriva TrainCare in Bristol is seeking a Heavy Maintenance Team Leader to oversee depot operations, lead the maintenance teams and drive safety, efficiency, and quality on rail vehicles.

You will coordinate with project engineers, support training for competence, and ensure compliance with all work instructions and company policies in a dynamic rail environment.

Competenze

• Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Understanding of rail vehicle maintenance.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Understanding of both mechanical and electrical engineering.
• People management training.

Mansioni

• Manage depot operations, activities and personnel at the Bristol depot.
• Implement and maintain safety systems, production efficiency and quality output.
• Ensure compliance with VMI’s, VOI’s and ATC work instructions.
• Liaise with Project Engineers to ensure efficient work programmes.
• Work with the training department on competence assessments for the team.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Implement customer requirements.
