About this opportunity

A fantastic opportunity has arisen with MFS Commercials Ltd. They are seeking an apprentice HGV mechanic to join their busy workshop in Tameside, maintaining their fleet of vehicles.

Daily responsibilities include:

  1. Keeping the workshop clean and organized
  2. Using tools and equipment for vehicle maintenance and repair
  3. Learning safe working procedures in the workshop
  4. Assisting experienced technicians while receiving on-the-job training
  5. Learning to service vehicles and safely remove and replace engine, chassis, electrical, and transmission components
  6. Diagnosing and repairing faults in engines, chassis, transmissions, and electrical systems
