Job summary

HR GO Group in Doncaster is seeking an experienced MIG Welder for a Monday-Thursday, 06:00-16:30 shift. You will weld heavy-gauge steel, prepare surfaces, and ensure high-quality components for global customers. This permanent role offers weekly pay and a route to temp-to-perm.

The position focuses on MIG welding, fabrication preparation and producing quality components within an established engineering operation. A strong weld quality mindset and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in MIG welding on heavy-gauge steel.
• Attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow work instructions and quality standards.

• Capable of manual handling as required.

Responsibilities

• MIG weld heavy-gauge steel components.
• Prepare surfaces and components for welding.
• Produce consistent, high-quality welds.
• Grind, fettling and deburring welds as needed.
• Clean and prepare components to standard.
• Perform visual inspections and quality checks.
• Use welding equipment and handheld tools.
• Work to instructions, maintain safe, tidy workspace.
• Contribute to daily quality and output targets.
