Contek Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a skilled MIG Welder for a temp-to-perm / full-time role in Doncaster (DN3). You will weld mild steel components, follow engineering drawings, and help maintain a clean and safe workshop environment.

The role offers 40 hours per week at £14.00 per hour, with consistent shifts Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Applicants should have MIG welding experience and the ability to read technical drawings and work with fabricators.

MIG Welder

Location: Doncaster - DN3

Salary / Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour

Contract Type: Temp to Perm / Full-Time

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (40-hour working week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MIG welding on a variety of mild steel components (including frames, handrails, balustrading, gates, fencing, and structural beams).
• Ensure welds meet exact technical specifications and structural quality standards.
• Work efficiently from engineering drawings and setup requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience in MIG welding mild steel.
• Strong ability to produce clean, sound welds across various material thicknesses.
• Confident working alongside fabricators and reading technical drawings where required.
