Job summary

Mane Contract Services is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to service and repair a broad range of airport ground support equipment. You will work within a dedicated engineering team to deliver high-quality servicing for business customers.

The role requires strong HGV mechanical experience, a Class 1 licence, and City & Guilds in Motor Vehicle Engineering. You will need five years of checkable employment history for airside pass clearance and to pass CRC checks.

Qualifications

• Strong HGV mechanical experience is essential.
• HGV Class 1 driving licence is required.
• City & Guilds qualification in Motor Vehicle Engineering or equivalent.
• Five years of checkable employment history for airside pass clearance.
• Ability to pass CRC checks.
• Ability to obtain GSAT certification via in-house training.
• Experience with GSE, commercial vehicles or heavy plant is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair a wide range of ground support equipment.
• Perform mechanical and electrical planned preventative maintenance per schedules.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs meeting safety and quality standards.
• Complete service documentation and job cards accurately and on time.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to support safe equipment turnaround.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety legislation and company procedures.

Experience and Qualifications
