Role Overview

As a Heavy Duty Truck Estimator, you will be responsible for evaluating damage on commercial and fleet vehicles (Class 6–8 trucks), preparing accurate repair estimates, working closely with both customers and insurance adjusters, and ensuring seamless workflow from intake to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and assess damage on heavy-duty trucks and equipment

  • Create precise, detailed estimates using CCC One or similar estimating software

  • Collaborate with service advisors, technicians, and parts managers to ensure accuracy and efficiency

  • Communicate effectively with insurance companies and fleet accounts

  • Update customers regularly and maintain top-tier service standards

  • Support the repair planning and blueprinting process

  • Stay informed on OEM procedures, repair techniques, and compliance standards

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an estimator (preferably in heavy-duty or commercial vehicles)

  • Proficient in CCC One, Mitchell, or equivalent systems

  • Knowledge of heavy-duty truck construction, repair procedures, and insurance estimating guidelines
