Diesel Technician - Keep Trucks Moving with Truck Country



Are you a skilled Diesel Technician looking for an opportunity to grow your career? What You'll Do



  • Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on medium- and heavy-duty trucks.

  • Use advanced diagnostic tools to troubleshoot engine and system issues.

  • Accurately document findings and repairs using company-provided laptops and software.

  • Work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented shop environment.

  • Engage in ongoing training and development to stay up to date with the latest repair techniques and technologies.



Required Qualifications:



  • Basic computer skills, including diagnostic software.

  • Proficiency with power and hand tools.

  • Strong attention to detail and a clean, organized workspace.

  • Excellent communication skills for documenting and relaying repair findings.



Preferred Qualifications:



  • 1-2 years of experience as a Diesel Technician, especially with Class 8 vehicles.

  • Certifications for Detroit or Cummins engines (priority hiring for certified candidates).

  • CDL license (preferred but not required).

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.

  • Experience with engine overhauls is a plus.
