Job description

A Heating & Plumbing Engineer is required by a family‑run company based in Faversham. This full‑time, permanent role involves delivering domestic heating and plumbing services across Kent, with some travel into London, at a daily rate of £220–£250 depending on experience.

The successful candidate will hold a valid Gas Safe registration and have the ability to perform high‑quality installations, repairs, and maintenance, with a strong commitment to workmanship and customer service. A full UK driving licence is mandatory.

About the company: The company is a well‑established, family‑run heating and plumbing company based in Kent, known for high‑quality workmanship, honest advice, and exceptional customer service. It is currently growing and looking to add an experienced, reliable and motivated Gas Safe Engineer to its friendly team.

The role is a varied domestic heating and plumbing position covering servicing, fault‑finding, repairs, and installations throughout South Kent and the wider Kent area, with occasional work in London. The engineer will manage their own workload, work independently, provide excellent customer service and represent the company to the highest standard.

• Leak detection and reactive plumbing repairs

Communication & Customer Care

• Deliver a professional and friendly customer experience

• Complete accurate job notes and records
• Upload photos where required
• Record materials used and update job statuses before leaving site

Essential Requirements

• Valid Gas Safe registration
• Level 2 or Level 3 Plumbing & Heating qualification
• G3 Unvented Hot Water qualification
• Minimum 2 years’ domestic plumbing and heating experience
• Strong boiler servicing, installation and fault‑finding skills
• Excellent diagnostic ability
• Full UK driving licence
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage their own jobs
• Right to work in the United Kingdom
