Job Description

  • To create the future strategy to deliver the organisations vision for cost effective and sustainable heating across our heat networks
  • To liaise with consultants to secure the necessary funding to execute the agreed strategy
  • To review the sustainability credentials of our district heating systems, together with any proposed changes to the system
  • To review the organisations internal policy on district heating networks and update where needed
  • To manage all associated funding bids, with support from contractor/consultants
  • To be responsible for liaising with residents, both as committees and individually, as necessary

The Successful Applicant

  • Ideally your career to date has been within mechanically biased Building Services Engineering, having operational experience on district heating systems.
  • Proven track record of problem solving and fault finding.
  • Team leader experience.
  • Knowledge of CDM and robust Health & Safety Training
