Job summary
Global Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Plumber/Heating Engineer for a role in the Hamilton/Blantyre area, with initial on-site work in Perth. The job covers reactive plumbing, heating maintenance, servicing, installations and remedial works on domestic and light commercial properties.
The position is full-time, temp-to-perm with a salary review after 13 weeks. Pay is £24 per hour, with overtime at £30 per hour, and benefits include a van, fuel card, company uniform and company credit
Qualifications
- Proven experience in plumbing and heating maintenance.
- Strong fault-finding and repair skills.
- Experience with servicing, planned maintenance and installations.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload.
- Willingness to work on-site in Perth for an initial period of up to 4 weeks before moving onto more local work.
Responsibilities
- Attend reactive maintenance call-outs.
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.
- Service heating systems.
- Complete planned preventative maintenance.
- Carry out installation and remedial works as required.
- Work independently and manage workload efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service when dealing with occupiers.
