We are looking for an experienced Heating Engineer – Air Source Heat Pumps to join our growing renewable energy team.
This is a varied role focused on the installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of air source heat pump systems across domestic and commercial projects.
You will work alongside our electrical and renewables teams as we continue to expand our renewable heating division across Aberdeenshire and North East Scotland.
In-house training will be provided for the right candidate. If you are an experienced heating engineer with a strong background in traditional wet heating systems and would like to move into renewables, we can provide the training and support needed to make that transition.
Key responsibilities include:
Applicants should ideally have experience as a heating engineer or plumbing and heating engineer, strong experience with wet central heating systems, relevant plumbing and heating qualifications, a G3 Unvented Hot Water qualification and a full UK driving licence.
Experience with air source heat pump installation and servicing, heat pump installation qualifications, Water Regulations, manufacturer training, heating controls, weather compensation or heat pump commissioning would be advantageous but is not essential.
Heat pump experience is not essential for the right candidate. If you have strong traditional heating experience and the right attitude, we would still like to hear from you. Full in-house training can be provided to help you move into renewable heating.
The position is full-time and permanent with a salary of £35,000–£45,000 depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include a company vehicle, company uniform, tools and test equipment, in-house training, manufacturer and technical training, support towards heat pump and renewable heating qualifications and long-term career development.
