Role Overview

Responsible for servicing and response maintenance of NIHE and Private properties across areas including Causeway Coast & Glen and Derry.

Reporting and Working Hours

• Reports to: Foreman
• Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
• On Call Rota: Flexibility required

Roles & Responsibilities

Tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Gas/Oil maintenance, repairs, and breakdowns
• Annual Gas/Oil services in NIHE and private properties
• Inspections and safety checks on gas boilers
• Safety checks and services on Oil appliances
• Additional duties as assigned by management
• Flexibility to cover other office locations may be required

Personnel Specification

Essential Criteria

• Gas Safe registered with experience in servicing domestic gas systems
• Experience in fault finding on domestic central heating systems and boilers
• Full Driving License
• Availability for call outs on a rotational basis

Desirable Criteria

• Time served or qualified plumber
• Valid CSR Card

Personal Characteristics

• Ability to build and maintain relationships
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Self-initiative and flexibility
