Job summary

A national heating contractor is seeking a qualified renewables engineer to service renewable heating systems in domestic social housing properties in the Cambridgeshire area. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience and relevant qualifications. The role includes providing excellent customer care and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards. Salary is between £41,500 and £43,000 per annum, with an OTE of £50,000+, and benefits including a pension scheme and employee wellbeing programme.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience as a qualified renewables engineer.
• Experience with Air Source Heat Pumps, Ground Source Heat Pumps, and Solar Thermal.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.

Overview

Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established national heating contractor operating within the local authority sector. They have a vacancy for a qualified renewables engineer to cover the Cambridgeshire area, carrying out servicing, fault finding, and repairs on renewable heating systems in domestic social housing properties.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and Repair of Renewable Central Heating Systems
• Providing high levels of customer care when dealing with tenants and clients
• Ensure all Health & Safety requirements and legislation are followed including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records

Requirements

• 2 years' experience as a qualified renewables engineer
• Experience carrying out fault finding and repairs of Air Source Heat Pumps, Ground Source Heat Pumps and Solar Thermal
• ACS qualifications incl. CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1 (Desirable)
• Full UK Driving Licence
• No unspent criminal convictions (DBS Check to be carried out on offer of employment)

Package

• 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
• Overtime paid at hourly rate

• Salary: £41,500 - £43,000 per annum
