Job summary

SITA is seeking a Team Lead to manage delivery managers and network engineers, delivering a dedicated portfolio supporting Heathrow’s network infrastructure. The role emphasizes strong resource planning, leadership, and stakeholder management to ensure timely and quality outcomes on a fixed-term basis at Heathrow Airport.

The candidate will lead a diverse, global team, oversee governance, reporting, and performance development, and maintain customer relationships with Heathrow and partners.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience as a Team Lead or Line Manager, managing delivery managers and IT engineers.
• Experience leading and managing teams, whether as a team leader, supervisor, or manager.
• Strong governance, people management, and motivational capabilities.
• Effective team leadership skills and experience.
• Excellent stakeholder and customer engagement skills, particularly within complex operational environments such as airports.
• Experience in the aviation industry and/or at Heathrow Airport is highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Leading and Managing Delivery and Engineering Teams – Review, recommend, and maintain the optimal team structure, capacity, and skills strategy.
• Delivery Management and Administration – Promote delivery management practices and continuous improvement.
• Governance and Reporting – Ensure governance and reporting with KPI tracking and data-driven updates to stakeholders.
• Team Leadership, Performance and Development – Set objectives, conduct reviews, coach, and support skills development.
• Customer Relationship and Escalation Management – Build strong relationships with Heathrow and stakeholders and manage escalations.
