Qualifications

• IOSH Graduate membership is a prerequisite.
• NEBOSH certification required.
• Experience in Rail HS&E environment essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a strong Health and Safety environment.
• Lead accident/incident investigations and implement root cause analysis.
• Ensure compliance with H&S and statutory legislation.

Skills

H&S professional (IOSH) GRAD

NEBOSH certificated

In depth knowledge of Rail HS&E requirements

Experienced in RISQS auditing / management

Experienced leading HS&E within Rail construction environment

Experienced leading HS&E in major multi discipline construction projects

Experienced in accident / incident investigation

Thorough knowledge of H&S and statutory legislation

IIRCA certified internal auditor (HS&E)

Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001

Ability to work collaboratively

Competent in producing reports

Knowledge of the CDM regulation

Able to lead HS&E teams

Effective communication skills

Able to deliver HS&E training

Please note that being an IOSH Graduate member is a perquisite for this role

Essential:

• H&S professional (IOSH) GRAD
