Job summary

Aira is seeking an experienced Heat Pump Installer to act as Installation Team Leader. You will oversee installation projects, lead six to ten teams, and ensure quality and safety across sites while coordinating planning and on-site support.

The role blends on-site work with office planning and reporting, requiring comfort with Excel, PowerPoint, Heat Engineer, HubSpot, Outlook, and Teams. Gas Safe qualifications are essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2 plumbing (or equivalent) required.
• Gas Qualifications required.
• WRAS Qualifications (Water Regs) required.
• Unvented hot water systems (Part G) experience preferred.
• Experience installing air source heat pumps preferred.
• Experience installing hot water cylinders and radiators preferred.
• NVQ Level 3 plumbing (or equivalent) advantageous.
• Level 3 heat pump system design advantageous.
• F-Gas Category 1 advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead 6–10 installation teams of Installers, Plumbers, Electricians and Technical Surveyors.
• Ensure installations are delivered safely, efficiently and to plan.
• Provide on-site training and support to teams.
• Handle planning and administration with on-site involvement as needed.
• Utilise software such as Excel, PowerPoint, Heat Engineer, HubSpot, Outlook and Teams.

We're looking for an experienced Heat Pump Installer to join Aira as our new Installation Team Leader. In this role, you'll ensure high-quality heat pump installations are delivered safely and efficiently while leading your team to provide outstanding customer service every day.

What you'll be doing

You'll ensure installation projects across your areas are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with agreed plans. You'll lead between six and ten installation teams, made up of Installers, Plumbers, Electricians, and Technical Surveyors. You'll support your team throughproactive planning, on-site training, and targeting continuous improvement wherever it is needed.

This role combines on-site support with office-based planning and administration. You will join installations if required, but you will also need to be confident with technology as much of the role will involve using software such as Excel, PowerPoint, Heat Engineer, HubSpot, Outlook, and Teams.

The working hours are Monday - Friday 8-5, however some flexibility will be required if your team needs support outside of these hours. At Aira, we want you to grow with us, and will support you with training in all aspects of personnelmanagement through the Aira Academy.

You will need to be an expert Air Source Heat Pump Installer for this position, and you will need to have Gas Safe qualifications.
