Job summary

Aira Group is seeking an experienced Heat Pump Installer to join as Installation Team Leader in Reading. You will lead six to ten installation teams, ensuring high-quality heat pump installations delivered safely and efficiently while delivering outstanding customer service.

The role blends on-site work with office planning and training, with the Aira Academy providing development in personnel management and advanced heat pump skills.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2 plumbing (or equivalent).
• Gas Qualifications.
• WRAS Qualifications (Water Regs).
• Unvented hot water systems (Part G).
• Experience installing air source heat pumps.
• Experience installing hot water cylinders and radiators.
• Experience leading others.
• NVQ Level 3 plumbing (or equivalent).
• Level 3 heat pump system design.
• F-Gas Category 1.

Responsibilities

• Lead 6–10 installation teams to deliver safe, efficient projects.
• Plan proactively and support on-site training and improvement.
• Combine on-site work with office planning and admin.
• Utilize Excel, PowerPoint, Heat Engineer, HubSpot, Outlook, Teams.
• Oversee schedules, safety and customer service quality.

We're looking for an experienced Heat Pump Installer to join Aira as our new Installation Team Leader. In this role, you'll ensure high-quality heat pump installations are delivered safely and efficiently while leading your team to provide outstanding customer service every day.

What you'll be doing

You'll ensure installation projects across your areas are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with agreed plans. You'll lead between six and ten installation teams, made up of Installers, Plumbers, Electricians. You'll support your team throughproactive planning, on-site training, and targeting continuous improvement wherever it is needed.

This role combines on-site support with office-based planning and administration. You will join installations if required, but you will also need to be confident with technology as much of the role will involve using software such as Excel, PowerPoint, Heat Engineer, HubSpot, Outlook, and Teams.

The working hours are Monday - Friday 8-5, however some flexibility will be required if your team needs support outside of these hours. At Aira, we want you to grow with us, and will support you with training in all aspects of personnelmanagement through the Aira Academy.

You will need to be an expert Air Source Heat Pump Installer for this position, and you will need to have Gas Safe qualifications.
