Job summary

Aira is seeking an experienced Heat Pump Installer to become Installation Team Leader in Reading, UK. You will lead multiple installation teams, ensuring safe, efficient heat pump installations while guiding your crew with proactive planning and on-site support.

The role combines field work with office planning; travel within the area may be required. You will train through the Aira Academy and use tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook daily.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2 plumbing (or equivalent).
• Gas Qualifications.
• WRAS Qualifications (Water Regs).
• Unvented hot water systems (Part G).
• Experience installing air source heat pumps.
• Experience installing hot water cylinders and radiators.
• NVQ Level 3 plumbing (or equivalent).
• Level 3 heat pump system design.
• F-Gas Category 1.

Responsibilities

• Lead 6–10 installation teams (Installers, Plumbers, Electricians) to deliver projects safely and to plan.
• Provide on-site support and office-based planning and administration.
• Utilise software such as Excel, PowerPoint, Heat Engineer, HubSpot, Outlook and Teams.
• Develop team through training and the Aira Academy.

We're looking for an experienced Heat Pump Installer to join Aira as our new Installation Team Leader. In this role, you'll ensure high-quality heat pump installations are delivered safely and efficiently while leading your team to provide outstanding customer service every day.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll ensure installation projects across your areas are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with agreed plans. You'll lead between six and ten installation teams, made up of Installers, Plumbers, Electricians. You'll support your team through proactive planning, on-site training, and targeting continuous improvement wherever it is needed.

This role combines on-site support with office-based planning and administration. You will join installations if required, but you will also need to be confident with technology as much of the role will involve using software such as Excel, PowerPoint, Heat Engineer, HubSpot, Outlook, and Teams.

The working hours are Monday - Friday 8-5, however some flexibility will be required if your team needs support outside of these hours. At Aira, we want you to grow with us, and will support you with training in all aspects of personnel management through the Aira Academy.

You will need to be an expert Air Source Heat Pump Installer for this position, and you will need to have Gas Safe qualifications.
