Job summary

Aira is hiring a Heat Pump Engineer in the UK to deliver safe, high‑quality heat pump installations and lead a small team. You will fit the latest Aira systems, work from surveyed plans, and collaborate with designers to ensure efficient, reliable setups.

The role offers training at the Aira Academy, development opportunities, and inclusion in a Europe‑wide team of engineers within the growing heat pump network.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 plumbing (or equivalent).
• Gas Safe registered.
• Experience installing boilers or air source heat pumps.
• Experience installing hot water cylinders and radiators.
• NVQ Level 3 plumbing (or equivalent).
• WRAS qualifications.
• Gas qualifications.
• Unvented hot water systems (Part G).
• Level 3 heat pump system design.
• F-Gas Category 1.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality heat pump installations safely and efficiently.
• Lead your team to provide outstanding customer service.
• Install the latest Aira heat pumps, cylinders, and radiators.
• Work with designers to ensure efficient, reliable systems are fitted.
• Train at the Aira Academy for development and growth.

Education

NVQ Level 2 plumbing (or equivalent)

Gas Safe Qualifications / Gas Safe registered

Experience installing boilers or air source heat pumps

Experience installing hot water cylinders and radiators
