Job summary

Shrewsbury Resourcing is seeking a Heat Pump Engineer (air source and ground source) to join a growing renewable energy team in Shropshire. You will install, maintain and test heat pump systems across sites with scope for training.

Ideal candidates hold NVQ Level 3 Plumbing & Heating, ground/air source installation qualifications, manufacturer heat pump training, G3 unvented, CSCS and a full UK driving licence. Salary up to £45k with overtime and career development.

Heat Pump Engineer - air source and ground source

Location: Shropshire (covering West Midlands & Cheshire)Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 per year (negotiable) + overtime

We have been instructed by an up and coming renewable energy specialist to find them an experienced Heat Pump Engineer (air source / ground source) to join the core team. Their ambition is to be a significant contributor to the UK's production of renewable energy and accelerate the transition to a net zero future.

The business delivers installation & maintenance across Heat Pumps, Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Charging, and general electrical services. It is more important to find the \"right fit\" than necessarily an Engineer with renewables qualifications.

The team is small, the ambition is huge and they want this person to learn and grow along with the business - someone that's excited by renewables and would love to have their contribution recognised and fully appreciated!

The Heat Pump Engineer's role

You will be responsible for installations, maintenance and testing across renewable energy system projects. Full training can be given.
