Job summary

A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Hearing Screener to join their Newborn Hearing Screening team at Bradford Royal Infirmary. The successful candidate will carry out hearing screenings, provide information to parents, gain consent, and input results into the system. A strong background in communication and the ability to work with newborns is essential. The role requires weekend work as the service operates 365 days a year. Competitive salary offered.

Responsibilities

An opportunity has arisen to work within the Newborn Hearing Screening team at Bradford Royal Infirmary

You will work as part of a team carrying out hearing screening of newborn babies involving giving information to parents, gaining consent, performing the screen, informing parents of the results, and inputting results electronically onto Trust/National systems. As the service is provided 365 days per year the role will involve weekend working
