  • Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum- Full Time Equivalent (depending on experience)

  • Hours: Flexible — choose full-time (Mon–Fri) or part-time (minimum 3 days per week across Mon–Fri) working across our partner practices in Greater Manchester and the surrounding area, at the following locations; Swinton, Altrincham, Lymm and Bromborough

About the Role

As a Hearing Care Assistant, you’ll be an integral part of our practice, supporting private hearing services with a balance of clinical excellence and operational flair.

Clinical Duties
  • Carry out otoscopy and Tympa-based assessments

  • Deliver Pure Tone Audiometry (PTA) screenings

  • Conduct hearing aid reviews and routine maintenance

  • Perform ear wax removal (microsuction, irrigation & manual)

  • Take aural impressions

  • Support patients with empathy and clear communication

  • Work under the guidance of an HCPC-registered Hearing Aid Dispenser

Practice Engagement & Development
  • Assist with team training and cross-referrals

  • Build partnerships with local GPs, pharmacies & communities

  • Help manage appointment scheduling to maximise the HAD’s time

Operational Responsibilities
  • Maintain high standards in line with healthcare regulations

  • Ensure Health & Safety compliance

  • Represent THCP with professionalism in both appearance and conduct

What You’ll Need

  • Qualified Hearing Care Assistant

  • Previous experience working in a customer facing environment and in a healthcare setting

  • GCSEs in English, Maths and Science (grade C or higher)

  • A full UK driving license and the ability to travel between locations

  • Eligibility to work in the UK, and availability for the specified days
