Job summary

Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care in East Devon seeks a qualified Hearing Aid Audiologist to join our clinical team. You will provide thorough hearing assessments, fit, program and maintain hearing aids, and deliver compassionate patient care.

HCPC registration is required; experience with a wide range of devices, and strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for delivering outstanding care in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

HCPC registration or eligibility is required.
Experience fitting and managing a wide range of hearing aids.
Excellent communication and patient-centered approach required.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and diagnostic tests.
Fit and program hearing aids to meet patient needs.
Provide patient education and ongoing support for device use.
Perform maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting of hearing aids.
Maintain accurate clinical records per standards.
Collaborate with support staff to ensure high-quality care.
Stay updated with advances in audiology and hearing aid tech.
