Main duties of the job
The nutritionist or nurse is responsible for supporting the delivery of the NCMP and supporting children and young people to develop a healthy lifestyle, follow up in schools and the local communities they will be working with individuals and groups. The nutritionist/nurse will contribute to the development and delivery of targeted public health nutrition interventions as requested by local commissioners in the service specification; for example developing group education programmes within clinics and schools.
You will need to be self-motivated, an excellent communicator, be able to work alone, with the drive and determination to lead on the delivery of high quality nutritional care for the children and young people of Barnet.
