Reporting Group: Leisure - Operations

About Your Role
  1. Deliver sustainable Healthy Communities projects/programmes across 5 centres in Wokingham Borough, ensuring measurable community impact.
  2. Complete monitoring and evaluation tasks as requested by your line manager, including gathering case studies in line with data protection protocols.
  3. Deliver Places Leisure's National Healthy Communities Programmes, such as Exercise Referral, Specialist Classes, Falls Prevention, Cardiac Rehabilitation, and Cancer Rehabilitation, based on your qualifications.
  4. Support programme coordination, including processing healthcare referrals, conducting telephone consultations, and managing bookings.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Qualified instructor in relevant disciplines (e.g., Level 3 GP Referral, Postural Stability, Level 4 Cardiac, Cancer Rehab, Neurological Conditions) to deliver sessions independently.
  • Experience in planning, delivering, and monitoring sessions.
  • Passion for improving community health.
  • Proficiency with MS tools.
  • Confident in client interactions, both in person and via telephone.
