Pay range: £25,500 to £26,200 annually

Duties
- Provide patients with excellent, comprehensive treatment while making sure their equality and dignity are always upheld.
- To guarantee that patients and consumers receive high-quality care, make sure the fundamentals of care concepts are used in day-to-day operations.
- Make sure the service user’s home is typically neat and orderly, and notify the proper person of any clutter or disarray.
- Fill out patient menu cards with the patients’ help, taking into consideration any dietary requirements that a skilled nurse has determined.
- Take part in protected mealtime for service users by making sure patients get their food and drinks on schedule and safely, washing their hands, and creating a mealtime-friendly environment.
- Take the patient’s temperature and make observations after a time of suitable training and evaluation.
- Help move and handle service users, making sure they are handled safely and in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.
- Recognise emergency circumstances and know how to react correctly.
- Share essential information with service users and their carers while upholding their privacy, dignity, and respect.
- Strong knowledge of personal care, practical and household duties, and enabling and supporting work, such as dressing, bathing, toileting, washing, and medication monitoring and/or help.
- While providing care in the home and other locations as needed, support workers must encourage service users to be independent in their own homes while upholding individualised care that always satisfies each person’s needs in terms of confidentiality.
- Providing service users with personal, social, and enabling care and support in their homes and communities will be among the responsibilities and obligations.
- The capacity to interact with service users and their families while delivering the best possible care using a person-centred approach and in compliance with their support plan.
- You may be expected to perform certain social tasks, such as cooking and meal preparation, basic cleaning, grocery shopping, bill payment, and fire upkeep.
- In order to empower service users to be as autonomous as possible and have control over their own lives, enabling and support may also involve tasks like coaching, monitoring, and supervision. They might have to go with or escort service users to appointments, events, or community outings.
